Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2012

© Julien Lanoo
Designed by Ai Weiwei & Herzog & de Meuron in London, the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion is a remarkable structure. The water-covered structure and half sunken design creates for both an unusual, yet effective design. (ABOVE) From afar, the structure blends beautifully into it's surroundings. (BELOW 1) Part of the structure does not have a roof, allowing for one to sit back and admire its flat design. (BELOW 2) A view inside the structure, shows the many seating areas. The simple stairs and mushroom top seats are really beautiful. (BELOW 3) At night the structure is beautifully lit. The modern Pavilion and classic building behind it, really compliment each other. What do you think?

I think it's very cool. I love being able to be apart of the Art!
