Person Of Influence: Steven Holl

American architect Steven Holl, is well known for his contemporary design. (ABOVE) Higgins Hall is located on the Pratt Brooklyn campus, it is designed by Steven Holl. What I find intriguing about Higgins Hall is how Holl's building in the center contrasts from the original brick buildings. I love the energy that Holl's building brings. (BELOW 1) Simmons Hall is located on the MIT campus. The windows are perfect, I love the shape of this building. (BELOW 2) The Knut Hamsun Centre is a museum and educational center in Norway. The structure fits in beautifully with its surroundings. Holl was inspired by the areas scenic views when he designed this structure. The building looks like a large tree! (BELOW 3) The Linked Hybrid in China is such an impeccable group of buildings. It consists of 644 apartments. The top levels of the buildings are connected by floating pathways. What do you think of Steven Holl's work?
