First, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving for those celebrating today. Stairs are everywhere. In your home, office buildings, airports, etc. The next five staircases inspired me and I hope they will inspire you to spruce up your stairs. (ABOVE) Color goes a long way here. Each step has a different color and a different energy. Located in Germany these stairs describe the relationship between human beings according to the photographer: terror & love, prosecution & trust, despair & hope, revenge & kiss, etc. (RIGHT 1) These stairs are very easy to replicate in your home. Here, the stair railings are in the blue color family, however, you can paint your railings in a different color family and it will create a similar affect. A clean coat of white paint on the stairs and your golden! (BELOW 2) These beautiful Moroccan inspired stairs are very cool. I love how the pattern of each riser is different, yet they all work in unity. I could see all these patterns used either on a ceiling or wall. (BELOW 3) These stairs have a very unique form. In addition, you could nail some awesome skateboard tricks! (BELOW 4) These stairs are more traditional. The unique walls of this foyer make the stairs pop. You can add as little or as much to your space as you want. Don't follow rules, just do.
