Weekly Start Off: No 16

Happy Monday, April 8, 2013 readers! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! For this week's "Weekly Start Off" post I decided to turn my focus towards transition pieces between winter and spring. If you live in a place that experiences the four seasons, like me, than chances are you're in search of those key transition pieces. You don't want to wear a pair of shorts, but you also don't want to whip out that winter jacket in April.

1. A great blazer with a strong pop of color is a perfect transition piece. A pair of Converse gives the look a more laid back feel, in addition, they're the ideal spring causal shoe. I love a bike with a space to place your bag, so cute! A pair of floral pants, is a fun flirty way to welcome in spring, yet still keep your legs warm.

2. Yes, I know, even though it may only be 50 degrees outside, you're sick of wearing closed toe shoes and want to put on your sandals. I love a great, brightly colored pair of sandals. The bag is from Balenciaga, Vogue fashion editor, Grace Coddington collaborated in the design. Proceeds from the bag went to an Animal Rescue fund. She's cute, and she's helping animals in need.

3. A bright yellow trench coat is perfect for this time of the year. It's an extremely classic piece. It can be worn to the office, or to a dinner with a great pair of pants, or dress. The right trench coat, can accentuate your figure. I absolutely love that she styled it with a yellow clutch and pair of cat eye sunglasses. So glam.

4. A geometric print bag, is a great transition piece. You can wear it in the winter, and you can wear it in the spring. If you look at the center of the cube, you'll notice that the print looks three dimensional. Get the above bag here. This geometric theme carried through into her bangles. Love it!
