The Shimmering Concrete Dormitory

How cool would it be having this building as your college dorm? Forget about the cramped and dirty dorms college kids call home for a few years, and hello to a piece of art. Designed by Marte Marte Architects in Austria, this stunning modern dorm is all about simplicity. (ABOVE) The focal point of the structure is the windows. They add a shimmer to the concrete facade. The windows are like jewels. Each a different size, and in no specific order. (BELOW 1) A view of the whole structure. The building has a very stately look. It stands relatively tall and makes a strong point. (BELOW 2) The dorms do not follow the same look as the main building. I like how they break away from the more classic architecture of the school. However, the dorms still have straight lines, found in the original buildings. (BELOW 3) A view of the campus. The dorms blend into the surroundings. What do you think of the dorms?
