Built and designed by John Pawson, this home is a solid masterpiece. Carved into a tree-acre Los Angeles hillside, this home boasts a minimalist design. Between the design and actual construction this home took eight years. The top floor of the house comprised of clad in stucco, offers views of the Pacific Ocean. Even though this home is very minimalist, vintage furniture and lots of color can easily be used in the interior. I always hate it when you expect to see modern furniture in a modern home or traditional furniture in a traditional home. A home such as the one designed and built by John Pawson is the perfect opportunity to test those boundaries.
