Finding The Right Lamp

Incorporating a lamp into a space is one of my favorite ways to make a room feel cozy. I prefer lamps to ceiling fixtures because they are easy to mix up. If you are tired of your lamp, you can easily buy a new one. Buy a lamp that is a piece of art. There are many lamps out there to choose from. Choosing a lamp that has a unique texture, shape or color is a brilliant way to add visual interest to a space. Lamps work best in pairsI always like a space that is symmetrical as symmetry makes a space feel larger,  by buying two lamps you will add balance to a space.  The lamp you buy should have a purpose. A good friend of mine has this little lamp on her dresser. It’s probably four inches tall! A lamp like this is not proportionate to her space. In addition, it’s size does not adequately light her space. You can add as little or as many lamps to your space as you want. Don’t follow rules, just do.
