With so many ways to decorate your home, people often resort to painting their walls a boring color. Your Walls Are Your CanvasWhite, Beige and Gray can look equally attractive and glamorous however, done wrong these colors can create a design catastrophe. Try adding flavor to your walls. Paint is always a great inexpensive option. If you want to give your walls a little more oomph add a pattern. You can achieve a pattern by applying wallpaper, or by placing tape in which ever way you choose on your walls. Paint in between the tape. Wall molding’s are brilliant ways to divide color, add a molding and paint one room multiple colors from the same color family. You can add as little or as much to your walls as you want. Don’t follow rules, just do.

Why Red?

http://www.kellywearstler.com/thetidessouthbeach.html
Most people are nervous when it comes to panting a room red. A red room is a power statement and should not be underestimated. So...why red? Red increases your enthusiasm, it encourages you to take action and be confident and it provides you with a sense of protection from fears and anxiety. The color red does not need to be applied to all four walls of a room, but rather can be applied as an accent color. Change up the way you apply the color red to your room. Buy red pillows with lots of texture, add red stripes to your walls going in different directions, even pant the ceiling or floor red. You can add as little or as much red to your room as you want. Don’t follow rules, just do.
